dabbling in durham

we stayed in durham, north carolina on our way to georgia over the weekend. we have really nice friends that let us stay at their house--- even though they were out of town (thanks clark & amy!!).

we tried yummy carolina bbq, visited duke chapel (beautiful) and tried loco pops--- quite possibly the best popsicles around. i want to go back just for the chocolate brownie pop. and this was too good to pass up. best. name. ever. what can i say?
we loved durham.

You are stunningly beautiful in your cloche hat, stripes and brights, eating Carolina BBQ. How talented to also eat loco choc pop and not get it on your face. Looks yummy.
I was called to the NC mission, but then recalled to Florida, so I have never seen NC. I understand that some of our ancestry comes from there but haven't been able to locate them. If talented miss Emily wasn't so busy, I'm sure you could find that link.

So glad you got to see some of Durham's best even though your stay was so short! Thanks so much for the 5 Guys gift card. We were more than happy to have you stay in our home. Come anytime!
