bringing some spring [u.s. botanical gardens]

there is a lovely orchid exhibit at the botanical gardens near the u.s. capitol.
i went on saturday with lady friend, rose.

i loved it. and it helped me feel like spring is coming :)i feel like these plants were inspiration for some of the plants found in avatar.
rose named the one on the right, lady in a dress :)happy ladies.

Just saw Avatar (not in 3-D...makes me sick) on Sunday and thought it was visually amazing....as are those flowers in DC!

Such pretty plants - especially the orchids. I am obsessed with orchids at the moment - I want to fill my house with them!!
