my favorite little boot.
we love to play tourists every once in a while.

some guys asked us where the reflecting pool on the national mall was, so we helped. they then asked a couple minutes later, "have you guys, like, been here a lot?"
i said, "we live here."

ha. silly tourists :)

We used to love playing tourist in London, though most of the time we couldnt help people who asked us questions lol.

the license plate preamble is CRAZY! And, I definitely never understood the motto on the DC plates (I was like, wait, isn't it NO taxation w/o representation??) until ben had to explain it to me a few weeks ago.

Woot woot for Mike Wilkins! Love that he is from NC! Our arts council in the little town of Monroe has a beautiful ceiling like the on in your second photo. I am so into being a tourist in our home cities too! Looks like fun! xo

roed has an interview THIS WEEK for a job with the government. we were so excited (a little ahead of ourselves..) that last night we looked at apartments in DC! haha :)
