in the magic gardens

artist isaiah zagar put together philadelphia's magic gardens. it was my favorite part about our day in philly. the magic gardens are an entire house/art studio and yard made into one big mosaic art formation. i especially loved the bottles. i also felt particularly connected to this kind of art because i used to build stained glass windows in college. i really loved doing that.

Oh this is so much more magical than I thought. Did you sort of want to smash all the bottles as you ran through the alley with a baseball bat? ...I didn't either.

whaaaat?! i need to visit this place. ASAP. pronto. i absolutely love mosaics. i do it and it's so much fun. i picked this hostel that we stayed at in costa rica because it had mosaic columns hahaha
