it's been a happy fourth of july

yummy dinner consisted of: spinach, garlic and fontina chicken sausage & corn on the cob & baked beans. and we had these cute little cakelets for dessert.
we of course watched the fireworks from our roof. we didn't realize we were going to be completely surrounded by fireworks. our neighborhood really puts on a show.
our [somewhat] shameful fireworks.

our fantastic view of the official dc/united states fireworks. i love the fourth of july in washington dc.

4th of July in DC must be magical. I love your pictures, especially the sparklers. Glad you two had a great time.

Well Kris, Al, Annie, Sam and I marched up and down the sidewalk singing "You're a Grand Old Flag." March and march and march and march and march. We kept fighting over who could be the leader.

I love DC on the 4th. Sweet that you could watch the fireworks from your roof, no fighting the crowds!
