let's talk hair.

ladies, ladies.
puh-leez.

i just sort of have a mop of hair. i have a lot of it. so anything i attempt to do to it takes massive amounts of time that i do not have (or even want to have).

any tips for a lady with thick frumpy hair? i want some down and up dos... quick-fix-its!

and i then i realize i should probably STOP COMPLAINING because i think of the documentary good hair and how it sort of changed my whole perspective on life (and well... hair). hmmm
watch it and then get back to me with hair ideas.

ok bye,
me

p.s. yes, i did see this post about the messy pony tail which i have every intention to try. perfect timing!

oh girl. amen. AMEN!

i've been do the messy bun (like everyday) because it's easy and because it's EASY! ;)

i'll be checking back for answers from other folks.

oh, and i LOVE your wedding ring!

Yup. I'm pretty much just a twist it into a bun girl most days. Some days I use hot stix (I think I got them at a garage sale in the 80s, and I still love them.) But I totally loved that messy ponytail post too! Going to try that one soon...

i have really thick hair, so what i found works best is to wash it only once or twice a week, and straighten it after then (but im sure you dont have to straighten yours). then my bedhead everyday is AWESOME. dirty hair is basically my favorite, and it doesnt even look greasy because i still get it wet in the shower everyday (just no shampoo/conditioner). good luck - its taken me probably 20 years to love my hair :)

Oh, does crazy thick hair run in our family? Probably so...
I will definitely be trying that darling messy pony tail!! I'm always looking for new fun looks. This one is one of my favorite looks...I don't do the roller part cause I'm lazy though. :)

No tips from me lady....I'm in the same boat. Tons-o-Hair and a baby that loves to gets his fingers tangled in it. Kinda makes me want to take a pair of scissors to it myself!

consider it a blessing and wear it with a smile. It is beautiful.

Oh! I'm afraid I don't have any quick fixes (I'm in need of some myself with my in-between, awkward-length, growing-out hair...) but thanks for the link to Good Hair!

And thanks for your sweet comment on my blog :)

No comment, Shayna? Sorry, Emily, but I love your hair. "Less is more."FLW I don't mean less hair is more, but less styling is more beautiful, where you are concerned.

I would just become one of those ladies who constantly has curlers in her hair. Walking around in the grocery store, reading the morning paper.
